Genetec Motoscan™ fits on the back of a scooter with minimal impact on the driver’s experience. Weighing less than 15 kg, the unit can be easily moved from one scooter to another.
A Genetec Motoscan™ system includes the following components:

| B | Luggage rack | To install the Genetec Motoscan™, the vehicle must be equipped with a luggage rack (not included). |
| C | Scooter | Several vehicles are approved for use with a Genetec Motoscan™ system. |
| D | Main unit cable | The main unit cable connects the main unit to the terminal block. |
| E | Terminal block | The terminal block allows for easy connection of system components. |
| F | Scooter 12 V power | Genetec Motoscan™ typically draws less than 40 W and is designed to run on the power output of a scooter. |
| G | Genetec Motoscan™ EV battery backup module | The EV battery backup module provides power to safely shut down the Genetec
Motoscan™ system. NOTE: This module is only
required if turning off the ignition cuts all power from the scooter. This is
common with electric scooters.
