Before you can start patrolling, you can select your current location in the parking
facility. From your current location, you can choose to follow a route, or patrol a specific row
in a sector.
What you should know
The parking facility configuration is based on the parking facility entity that was
created in
Security
Center
Config
Tool.
Procedure

In the main Genetec
Patroller™ window, tap
Parking facility.

Choose one of the following:
- Route
- Allows you to select the starting point (sector and row) of the predefined route
configured in the Parking facility entity. The route forms a closed circuit. For
example, in the screen capture above, sector A/Row #04 is the starting point and sector
A/Row#03 is the last location on your route.
NOTE: The Genetec
Patroller™ can deviate from the predefined route
at anytime, but the current location must be reset.
- Configuration
- Allows you to select the starting point (sector and row) to patrol a specific area
in the parking facility.
- None
- Sets the Parking facility to None.

Tap OK.
Results
The current location is selected and you can start patrolling.
