Some services are not provided by the Genetec™ Technical Assistance Center and they include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Full system deployment, software configuration, and customization
- The services provided by the Genetec™ Technical Support team do not include executing deployment plans, completing system configuration, or fully customizing settings, devices, or entities in production environments. These services are offered by the Genetec™ Professional Services team. 1
- Third-party products, solutions, infrastructure components, and hardware
- The services provided by the Genetec Technical Support team do not include configuring third-party products, solutions, infrastructure components, or hardware that integrate with Genetec™ products and services. For example, SQL AlwaysOn, Active Directory, network configuration, and so on.
- System and software installation, upgrade, and migration
- The services provided by the Genetec Technical Support team do not include performing
complete installations, system upgrades, or server migrations. These services are
offered by the Genetec Professional Services team1.
The Genetec Technical Support team is available to assist if any issues arise during the process.
- System design and integration
- The services provided by the Genetec Technical Support team do not include developing a system design or integration plan for new or existing systems. These services are offered by the Genetec™ Professional Services team.
- Full system health checks and assessments
- The services provided by the Genetec Technical Support team do not include conducting full system health checks, system assessments, security vulnerability checks, or ensuring that third-party, solutions, infrastructure components, or hardware work correctly with Genetec™ products. These services are offered by the Genetec™ Professional Services team1.
- Onsite support
- The services provided by the Genetec Technical Support team do not include onsite support, but the Genetec Technical Support team is readily available to assist you remotely through various communication channels.
- Writing or reviewing custom code
- The services provided by the Genetec Technical Support team do not include writing, reviewing, or resolving issues with custom code or scripts. For example, macros.
