Genetec™ Advantage contracts provide you with technical consultation hours, based on the value of your contract. You can use your technical consultation hours to receive the following remote services during regular business hours:

Best Practices Review (2 hours)
- Review the current system configuration best practices.
- Open discussion around configuration and design best practices.

Cybersecurity Best Practices Review (4 hours)
- Review the main sections from the Security Center Hardening Guide and identify potential risk factors.
- Recommendations provided on any configuration or environmental issue that may have been observed.

Upgrade Planning Assessment (8 hours)
- Review the current environment and ensure that it is ready for the desired version upgrade of Security Center by discussing upgrade best practices, such as prerequisites and recommended procedures in preparation for the upgrade.
- Upgrade Planning report is sent in the days following the remote session. The report contains notes and best practices from the session.
- This service is limited to systems with a maximum of 16 total servers (physical or virtual). For larger systems, contact ProServices@genetec.com.

Full System Assessment (16 hours)
- Comprehensive review of all entities (cameras, door controllers, and so on) and analysis of compatibility with the latest best practices (firmware version, password strength, and so on).
- Review any specific area of configuration that you want to have validated (areas, user groups, permissions, and so on).
- System Assessment report is sent in the days following the remote session. The report contains detailed information regarding all servers and entities connected to the system.
- This service is limited to systems with a maximum of 16 total servers (physical or virtual). For larger systems, contact ProServices@genetec.com.
This benefit is calculated based on the MSRP value of a one-year Genetec Advantage contract, as follows:

Under valid Genetec Advantage coverage, you can redeem technical consultations as described above, through the Genetec™ Portal. Technical consultations are scheduled during regular GTAC business hours in your region.
