After receiving all the results of the security checks for a badge applicant, you must
make the decision to continue or terminate the badge application process.
Before you begin
Wait for the applicant's status to change to
Security checks
completed.
What you should know
The airport uses the results of the security checks (CHRC and STA) to make its
decision, but the final decision always rests with the airport.
Procedure

From the Airport badging management task, select the
applicant's name from the list of companies and employees.
To search for an employee, click
at the bottom of the
list and use the
Search dialog box.

Click the Security
checks tab.

If you asked for a CHRC, select the CHRC row and click
Edit security check ().
The
Edit security check dialog box opens.

Under the Latest response section, click Show
message and read what the agency has to say.

Click Decision under the Airport response
section, select Fail or Pass and click
OK.

If you asked for an STA, select the STA row and click
Edit security check ().
The
Edit security check dialog box opens.

Under the Latest response section, click Show
message and read what the agency has to say.

Click Decision under the Airport response
section, select Fail or Pass and click
OK.

Click Save.
If you approved both security checks, the applicant's status changes to
Security checks approved in the employee list. If the
Rap Back option is turned on, the subscription is sent
automatically. However, if you rejected one of the security checks, the application is
Terminated.
After you finish
If you have approved all security checks, send the applicant to training. When they
have completed their training,
record their
results.
