After the applicants have completed their training, you must record their results
before you can process their badge applications.
What you should know
Some privileges associated to a badge require training, such as the
Authorized
signatory privilege and the
SIDA privilege. You cannot process a badge
application until all trainings required by the badge has been completed.
Procedure

From the Airport badging management task, select the
applicant's name from the list of companies and employees.
To search for an employee, click
at the bottom of the
list and use the
Search dialog box.

Click the Badges tab.
In the
Training section, all requested badges that require
training are listed. Training is not complete until all required training for a badge has
been completed.

Select a badge in the list and click Validate training ().
All training required for the selected badge are listed.

Select the training you want to validate and click Edit ().

If the dialog box that opens, enter the result of the training and click
OK.
- Tries
- Number of times the applicant has taken this training.
- Taken on
- Last training date.
- Result
- Result of the last training. If you updated the training by mistake, select
Not taken to clear the date and reset the number of tries
to zero.
When all training required by a badge has been completed, the badge training is
said to be complete.
NOTE: If a training has not been confirmed 30 days after a DAC
response, the applicant's badge is marked as Not
issued.
After you finish
When all the trainings required by a badge have been completed,
configure the badge for access control in
Security Center.
