Before you can block users from changing the values of certain fields, you must define those fields as read-only in Config Tool.

What you should know
- Read-only fields are protected from modification by any users, including administrators, when using the Cardholder management task.
- Parts of Security Center with access to these fields, such as the Access control task and the Security Center SDK, are still able to modify these fields.
- For this feature to work, the plugin must reside in a partition that is visible to the operator.
Procedure

In the Read-only column, select which fields you want to make
read-only.
