The Genetec™ Enhanced Cardholder Management plugin is an access control plugin that extends the functionality of the Cardholder management task in Security Center. The plugin adds cardholder field options and cardholder templates.
Administrator tasks using Config Tool
Administrators can use the plugin to do the following:
- Configure any of the following fields to be mandatory in the Cardholder
management task:
- First name
- Last name
- Mobile phone number
- Credentials
- Cardholder groups
- any combination of custom fields
- Configure any combination of custom fields to be read-only in the Cardholder management task.
- Configure any combination of date custom fields to reject the current date as a valid entry in the Cardholder management task.
- Configure cardholder templates, which can be applied by operators in Security Desk.
These templates populate any of the following with default values:
- Cardholder groups
- Badge templates
- Relative expiration date
- Any number of custom field values
- Generate, export, and print reports in the Cardholder compliance reports task.
Operator tasks using Security Desk
Operators can use the plugin to do the following:
- Apply administrator-defined templates to cardholders in the Cardholder management task.
- Generate, export, and print reports in the Cardholder compliance reports task.
Unsupported features
- This plugin does not support database backups or cleanups.
- This plugin does not support Federation™.
- This plugin does not support maps.
