  • Added search box in filters for Raise an event option in the IIoT Rule and action activities report task
A search box is now available for the Raise an event option in the IIoT Rules and action activities report task in Security Desk.
  • Added search boxes in add device dialog
The Add a device dialog now includes a search box in the Device Type drop-down to help you quickly find the right device type.
  • Added search boxes in data point and event dialogs
Search boxes are now available in the Add and Edit data point and Add and Edit event dialogs in the Devices, Device Type, and Entity tabs of Config Tool.
  • Added text overlays for linked cameras and ability to playback values in the Monitoring task
You can now add Industrial IoT text overlays directly on linked camera video streams. In the Security Desk Monitoring task, you can now use the playback feature for IIoT datapoint value tiles as well as synchronize playback with other IIoT tiles or video tiles.
  • Added the option to temporarily change states in rules
You can now use IIoT actions, activate or deactivate states, and write on data points in Security Center Automations.
  • Create automations to activate or deactivate states, or write on data points
You can now use IIoT custom actions within Automation for Security Center to activate or deactivate a state, or write on a data point.
  • Duplicate events, conversions, devices, and more
You can now duplicate events, arguments, actions, conversions, devices, device types, entities, and entity types.
  • Licensing based on physical devices
Licenses are now based on the number of physical device connections rather than the number of protocols.
  • Make the IIoT plugin discoverable as a BACnet device
The IIoT plugin can now act as a BACnet server. You can choose its BACnet device ID, and some BACnet data points are readable.
  • MQTT - Add topic variables that automatically replace MAC addresses or GUIDs
The MQTT protocol now includes a Topic variables section. Use it to define topic paths with custom variables, reducing manual edits when configuring similar paths. This is especially useful when only the MAC address or GUID changes between data points or devices.
  • OPC Client - Configure advanced settings in the plugin interface
OPC client settings that previously required Industrial IoT database edits can now be modified directly in the plugin interface without restarting the plugin or Config Tool.
  • Protocols - Deactivate protocols to free the associated gateway and network ports
When turning off a protocol, the plugin will now also free the related gateway and the network ports it was using.
  • SNMP - Manage TRAP messages without device communication
SNMPv2 devices can now receive TRAP messages even if not discovered by the gateway. The new Monitor Online Status option automatically marks devices as online when communication exists between the SNMP gateway and the IoT plugin.
  • Filter incoming data values to save in Time Series
You can now filter incoming data to choose which values are saved in Time Series.
  • Select which data points to save in Time Series
You can now activate or deactivate data collection for individual data points when Time Series is enabled.
