For the Genetec™ Intrusion Bridge to communicate with Bosch intrusion panels through an IP network, you must configure the settings on the panel before you enroll the unit on the Genetec™ Intrusion Bridge.

Before you begin

Procedure

  1. Select one of the supported Ethernet modules.
  2. Enable communication between the Bosch Management Remote Programming Software (RPS) and the panel, using a USB cable, the onboard Ethernet communication module, or the B420 or B426 Ethernet module.
For more information about enabling communication between RPS and the panel, see your Bosch documentation.
  3. Configure the panel settings using Bosch RPS, such as the intrusion areas, inputs (points), outputs (relays), automation mode of operation (2), and other behavior.
For more information about configuring the panel settings using Bosch RPS, see your Bosch documentation.
  4. Enable communication between Security Center and the panel.
For more information about enabling the panel to communicate with a server over an IP network, see your Bosch documentation.
