Before you add Security Center cardholders to an intrusion panel, you must push them to the Genetec™ Intrusion Bridge.

Before you begin

  • Import users from your intrusion panels to the Genetec™ Intrusion Bridge.
  • Verify that you have the privileges to see and configure roles and to see cardholders and cardholder groups.

What you should know

  • Changes can only be made to a Genetec™ Intrusion Bridge when it is connected.
  • After a first push has been completed, it is not required to do import cardholders.
  • Changes to the configured cardholders and cardholder groups are automatically pushed to the Genetec™ Intrusion Bridge.
  • If you have multiple intrusion panels connected to a Genetec™ Intrusion Bridge, you can push Security Center cardholders to all of the panels simultaneously.
  • Some intrusion panels do not support this function. For more information, refer to the feature comparison for intrusion detection extensions and plugins.

Procedure

  1. From the Config Tool home page, open the Intrusion detection task.
  2. Select the Intrusion Manager role, click the Genetec™ Intrusion Bridge cardholder section tab.
  3. Click Add an item ().
  4. Select the cardholders or cardholder groups that you want to add to the Genetec Intrusion Bridge.
NOTE: If you select All cardholders, it will push all cardholders and cardholder groups.
  5. Click OK, then click Apply.

Results

The Security Center cardholders are added to the cardholders list.
NOTE: If certain cardholders cannot be added, a warning is displayed. By clicking the information button (), you will be provided a list of cardholders who could not be pushed to the Genetec™ Intrusion Bridge.
