Using the Genetec™ Intrusion Protocol extension, you can addSecurity Center cardholders to a Satel intrusion panel.
Procedure
- From the Config Tool home page, open the Intrusion detection task.
- From the entity browser, select an intrusion panel and click the Users tab.

Click one of the following:
- Add user
- Add user group

Configure the following:
- User
- Select a user from the list. This list is displayed when you are adding a user.
- User group
- Select a user group from the list. This list is displayed when you are adding a user group.
- User type
- The user type, as defined on the Satel panel. For a list of user types, consult your Satel documentation.
- User time
- Allows users to create or change time.
- User temporary time
- Allows users to create or change temporary time.
- Simple user
- A user who can arm and disarm areas.
- Master
- A user that has access to the menu functions which are reserved for the administrator.
- Authorized areas
- Enter a 1 in the field of each area that the cardholder requires access to.
- Isolate inputs
- Allows users to isolate areas.
- Arm
- Allows users to arm areas.
- Disarm
- Allows users to disarm areas.
- Clear area alarms
- Allows users to clear alarms on areas.
- Clear object alarms
- Allows users to clear object alarms.
- Clear all alarms
- Allows users to clear all alarms.
- Defer alarm arming
- Allows users to defer alarm arming.
- Change code
- Allows users to change the access code to a zone.
- Edit users
- Allows the user to edit the users in relation to who they rank above.
- Bypass inputs
- Allows users to bypass inputs that are in an alarm states when arming an area.
- Set clock
- Allows users to program the clock on the intrusion panel.
- View trouble state
- Allows users to view areas that are in a trouble state.
- View events
- Allows users to view events related to the intrusion panel.
- Reset inputs
- Allows users to reset the inputs on an intrusion panel.
- Configure options
- Allows users to configure an intrusion panel.
- Tests
- Allows users to conduct tests on an intrusion panel.
- Downloading
- Allows users to conduct downloading functions on an intrusion panel. For a list of functions, consult your Satel documentation.
- Can always disarm
- Allows users to disarm a panel regardless of schedules.
- Clear voice messages
- Allows users to clear voice messages on a panel.
- Use GUARDX
- Allows users to use the Satel GUARDX program.
- Access temporarily blocked areas
- Allows users to access an area that has been temporarily blocked.
- Enter first code
- Allows users to initiate arming of areas that require entering two codes.
- Enter second code
- Allows users to enter the second code when arming areas that require entering two codes.
- Control outputs
- Allows users to control outputs.
- Clear latched outputs
- Allows users to clear latched outputs.
