Before the plugin can ingest data from your network of cloud-hosted third-party
cameras, you must configure an ALPR ingestion service data source.
What you should know
Use this data source to gather license plate information from your network of
cloud-hosted third-party ALPR cameras.
Procedure

Click the Data Sources tab.

In the ALPR ingestion services section, click
Add ()
and select the new data source.

To enable the data source, activate the Enabled check box.

Enter a name for the data source.

In the ALPR microservice endpoint field, enter the URL of the
third party system from which you want to ingest ALPR reads.

If your authentication type is local, select the Allow self signed
certificates check box.

To add a new OAuth URL click Add () and enter your credentials as
provided on login.genetec.com. To edit an existing OAuth URL click
Add ().

In the OAuth token URL field, enter the following URL so
that users can authenticate:
https://login.genetec.com/connect/token

In the OAuth client ID field, enter the value provided by
the Cities Group team.

In the OAuth client secret field, enter the value provided
by the Cities Group team.

Click Test.

If the test is successful, click Confirm.

In the ALPR read polling request frequency field, determine how
often Security Center polls data from the third
party system.

In the ALPR read polling request interval field, determine the
time span that is polled from the third party system.

If you need to delegate camera management to another data source, click the
Camera authority menu, and select a data source. This defines
which area displays the camera in the reads report.
NOTE: When Self is selected, the cameras for this data source are
created under the area named after the data source.

Click Apply.
