The Genetec™ Third-Party ALPR plugin 5.10.0 includes the following known limitations.

Issue Description
3956 When a ALPR plugin Unit is selected from the Map task to be configured, the user is brought to the Config Tool ALPR page, where the ALPR plugin unit cannot be configured.

  • ALPR units created by the plugin are no longer synchronized, meaning users can edit the unit's properties. When assigning a camera in the ALPR unit properties page, the changes made cannot be saved.
  • Workaround: Drag and drop the camera in the device from the area view.
  Because the Third-Party ALPR plugin requires you have ALPR manager set up, you must add a valid GSC-Av-S part number to the system to enable ALPR Manager.
