In the ALPR ingestion service, camera polling fails to resume after switching the ALPR provider from IsSupported = false to IsSupported = true.

Workaround: Restart the Third-Party ALPR Plugin role.

A new column called "Cannot delete the database. It is still in use" sometimes appears in the unified report.

Workaround:

1. Unselect the ALPR Manager from the Record Fusion service under ALPR hit and ALPR read.
2. Close the Unified Report.
3. Open the Unified Report.
4. Check the ALPR Manager from the Record Fusion service under ALPR hit and ALPR read.
5. If the issue persists, restart the Genetec Server and Security Desk. This can resolve the issue.
   

Cameras automatically added to a map from the Reads processing page are not automatically removed if the maps are unselected from the plugin configurations. These cameras can be manually removed using the Map designer task.

When adding cameras to an ALPR unit from the unit's properties page, changes to the settings in the page cannot be saved. This issue affects ALPR units managed by the ALPR plugin.

Workaround: Drag-and-drop the camera associated with the ALPR unit directly into the Area view task.

When you right-click on an ALPR unit managed by the ALPR plugin and then click "Configure entity," the ALPR task opens in Config Tool. However, the units aren’t listed in Config Tool. Navigate to the Area view task to view and configure the ALPR Plugin ALPR units.

The ALPR Plugin does not allow modifying a read once it has been received and saved.

The ALPR Plugin doesn't support the reads per day and hits per-day reports.

In Security Center 5.10, the grouping of devices in the Records report filter section is not optimal. This issue is resolved in the Unified report in Security Center 5.11 and later.

It is impossible to delete an ALPR unit created by the Third-Party ALPR Plugin after it was duplicated under the plugin.

Workaround:

Avoid duplicating a unit inside the plugin itself. Units can be duplicated to other Areas or Partitions outside of the plugin without issues.

When saving images to disk, mapped network drives aren't supported. Use the full hostname and path "\\hostname\path" instead of the letter ("Z:\") when configuring the network drive.

When no cameras have been imported from the ALPR ingestion service data source, no reads are shown in the ALPR reads report.

 

Workaround:

Wait for the camera to transmit reads to the system. If it is configured with an external ALPR provider, that provider must support the GetCameras endpoint to enable ALPR read reporting.

When using a hotlist with wildcards, the ALPR Plugin does not match hits with wildcard entries. A total plate match is needed for the plugin to raise a hit, even if the hotlist is marked as supporting wildcards.
