If you cannot view the System ID used by GUS to check for updates, you can troubleshoot the issue.

Solution

To resolve the issue, do the following:
  1. On the workstation, go to C:\ProgramData\Genetec Update Service and open the GenetecUpdaterServiceParameters.xml file.
    NOTE: Admin privileges are required.
  2. Find the following:
    Code
    <SystemIdInformation>
          <SystemId>SYSTEM_ID</SystemId>
          <Timestamp>DATETIME</Timestamp>
    </SystemIdInformation>
  3. SystemId contains the System ID retrieved from the Directory.
  4. Timestamp is the last time that GUS obtained the System ID from the Directory.
