If you cannot view the System ID used by GUS to check for updates, you can troubleshoot the issue.
Solution
To resolve the issue, do the following:
- On the workstation, go to C:\ProgramData\Genetec Update Service
and open the GenetecUpdaterServiceParameters.xml file.NOTE: Admin privileges are required.
- Find the following:
<SystemIdInformation> <SystemId>SYSTEM_ID</SystemId> <Timestamp>DATETIME</Timestamp> </SystemIdInformation>

SystemId
contains the System ID retrieved from the Directory. -
Timestamp
is the last time that GUS obtained the System ID from the Directory.
