You can select specific Security Center updates to apply to different servers and workstations. By default, the Genetec™ Update Service (GUS) always offers the latest updates.

What you should know

  • You can select which update you would like to apply only for Security Center software.
  • You can also select cumulative updates and hotfixes.
  • Compatibility is confirmed when applying the update.

Procedure

  1. Open the Genetec Update Service.
  2. In the Products page, select the machine you want to update.
  3. Click the Select update button.
  4. In the Update Selection window, select the desired Security Center update from the drop-down list.
    • Select Latest available, to apply new updates as they become available.
    • Select a specific version.
    • Search for updates using the search bar.
  5. Click Apply.
  6. Click Download and install.
  7. Once the installation is complete, update your license.

After you finish

To return to the Latest available updates default option, click Check for update or open the Update Selection window and select the Latest available option.
