You can set a specific task to open by default when you log on to the Genetec™ Web App. Clicking the logo in the top-left corner of the user interface also opens the default task.

What you should know

This is a per-user setting.

Procedure

  1. From the homepage, click the user profile icon Settings > Options.
  2. On the General page, select one of the following:
    Resume last opened task
    Opens the task that was active when you signed out.
    Set a default task
    Opens a specific task when you sign in. If you select this option, you must select a task from the Default task list.
  3. Click Save.
