You can monitor the custom events triggered by GeoRSS feeds from the Monitoring task in Security Desk.
Before you begin
- Add event rules to a feed to trigger custom events.
What you should know
- If you want to receive event notifications in the
Event monitoring list of the
Monitoring task, you must
monitor the GeoRSS role.Tip: If you forgot to monitor the GeoRSS role, you can generate a GeoRSS events report to see which custom events were triggered by the GeoRSS feeds.
Procedure

Click the Monitoring button, then click
the Add (
)
button.

Select Role from the list, select the
GeoRSS role, and then click
Add.
