Hiding keypads for SIP intercoms during incoming and outgoing calls
If you need to hide the keypad in Sipelia™ 2.9 or earlier when making or receiving calls using a SIP intercom, you can change the default behavior.
What you should know
To hide the keypad for a SIP intercom:
- Upgrade to Sipelia™ 2.10.
- Override the default keypad behavior by associating
a camera to the intercom:IMPORTANT: Adding a new camera to the Archiver role uses a camera license on your system. If you are adding the intercom's camera to the Archiver role, make sure you have a free camera license.
- From the Config Tool home page, open the Area view task.
- Select the SIP intercom you want to hide the keypad for, and click the VoIP tab.
- In the Associated
entities section, associate a camera
entity to the intercom.
The camera can be online or offline. For more information, see Associating Security Center entities with SIP intercoms
- Click Apply.
The keypad is now hidden when you receive or make calls from and to that intercom.
