To manage and configure the Honeywell Galaxy Intrusion Panel, you must create an Intrusion Manager role in Config Tool.

Procedure

  1. From the Config Tool homepage, open the System task, click Roles.
  2. Click Add an entity ()
  3. From the menu that opens, select Intrusion Manager.

  4. On the Specific info page, do the following:
    1. From the Server drop-down list, select the server assigned to this role.
      NOTE: If no expansion server is present, this option is not available.
    2. In the Database server field, select or type the name of the database server.
    3. In the Database field, select or type the name of the database (for example, IntrusionDetection).
    4. From the Authentication menu, select the database server that will be used by the intrusion manager role. If you are using SQL Server authentication to access the server, enter the user name and password.

    5. Click Next.
  5. On the Basic information page, do the following:
    1. Type the Entity name (Intrusion Manager).
    2. Type an Entity description for the role.
    3. Click Next.
  6. On the Creation summary page, do the following:
    1. Verify that the information you entered is correct.
    2. If everything is correct, click Create, or click Back to modify your settings.
      When the role is created, you see the following message: The operation was successful.
  7. Click Close.
