To troubleshoot an issue where alarms triggered by a Honeywell Galaxy Intrusion Panel are not received in Security Center, verify that the alarm recipients and settings are configured properly.

What you should know

This issue typically occurs when an alarm lacks recipients associated with it, or one of the settings is misconfigured.

Procedure

  1. Open the Alarms task, select the alarm entity in the entity browser, and then click Properties.
  2. In the Recipients section, ensure that the user who needs to be notified when the alarm is triggered is added to the list.
NOTE: The users or user groups selected here are the default alarm recipients configured when the alarm entities are created by the extension. If this list is empty, alarms are still triggered in Security Center, but no users are notified. You can also add alarm recipients later in the Properties tab of the alarm entity.
  3. Verify that the expected alarm is associated with the area and input. For more information, see Configuring alarms and events for Honeywell Galaxy Intrusion Panel areas and Assigning alarms to input events from a Honeywell Galaxy Intrusion Panel.
  4. Verify that your intrusion panel is configured to send alarms to the correct IP address and port. For more information, see Preparing a Honeywell Galaxy intrusion panel using the keypad and Preparing a Honeywell Galaxy intrusion panel using Galaxy RSS.
  5. Ensure that the user has partition visibility on the alarm. For more information, see Updating the content of partitions.
