SharpV G3 cameras must be powered using Power Source Equipment (PSE) compliant with standard IEEE 802.3bt. This type of PSE is also known as a PoE++ source and can deliver up to 60 W of power per port.
NOTE:
- Some PSEs are advertised as UltraPoE with 60 W of power available, but this doesn’t imply that the PSE is 802.3bt-compliant. The SharpV can’t negotiate successful power delivery with non-802.3bt PSEs, even if they are able to provide 60 W of power.
- The following hardware recommendations are for SharpV G3 units, but they are also acceptable for SharpV G1 and SharpV G2 units. For the specific network cable power requirements for SharpV G1 and SharpV G2 units, see the user guide associated with your Sharp OS release on the TechDoc Hub.
