Configuring the IONODES CitySafe Connector plugin role - IONODES CitySafe Connector 5.10.0.0

Configure the plugin role to ensure that your partner organizations and relevant cameras are included in your network.

To configure plugin settings:

1. From the Config Tool homepage, open the Plugins task.
2. In the Plugins task, select the plugin role from the entity browser, and click the Properties tab.
3. From the General section, configure the following:

   Cloud cache

   For the plugin to check the cloud for changes and implement any changes, you must click Synchronize.

   Tip: The plugin automatically synchronizes with the cloud every ten minutes.

   Archiver

   The Archiver where the cameras are enrolled.

   IMPORTANT: The IONODES CitySafe Connector plugin and the Archiver must be running in the same server.

   Concurrent streams

   The number of streams you can display at one time.

   NOTE:

   • Use the Concurrent streams setting to control how many active streams each server can provide. Each plugin instance should be installed on a different server to help manage the scalability and distribution of resources like bandwidth and computing power.
   • Next to the Concurrent streams setting, a fraction is displayed.
     • The total number of streams used by all plugin instances is displayed as numerator in the fraction.
     • The number of streams included in the license is the denominator in the fraction.

4. Click Apply.

To enable playback for the cameras added by your PERCEPT Gateways:

1. From the System task, navigate to the Roles page.
2. Select the Archiver associated with your IONODES Gateways.
3. Navigate to the Resources page.
4. Click Advanced settings.
5. Activate the Enable edge playback requests setting.
6. Click OK.
7. Click Apply.
