You can enable Maintenance mode for all Industrial IoT devices in Security Desk and Config Tool.

Before you begin

Make sure you have Security Center 5.10.3.0 installed on your system. For more information see Security Center Installation and Upgrade Guide 5.10.3.0.

Procedure

To enable Maintenance mode in Config Tool:

  1. From the Config Tool home page, open the Plugins task.
  2. Expand the <plugin role> from the entity browser.
  3. Right-click the desired device, and select Maintenance > Maintenance mode.
  4. In the Maintenance mode dialog box configure the following:
    1. Click Turn ON to enable Maintenance mode.
    2. Select one of the three options based on your requirement:
      Manually
      In this option, Maintenance mode is required to be turned off manually.
      Duration
      In this option, you can configure the desired number of days for the Maintenance mode to be disabled automatically.
      Specific end time
      In this option, you can configure the specific date and time for the Maintenance mode to be disabled automatically.
    3. (Optional) Enter a reason for enabling the Maintenance mode.
    4. Click Save.

    Maintenance mode is now enabled on the selected device.

To enable Maintenance mode in Security Desk:

  1. From the Security Desk home page, open the Monitoring task.
  2. Expand the <plugin role> from the entity browser.
  3. Right-click the desired device, select Maintenance mode and continue from Step 4.
    Maintenance mode is now enabled on the selected device.
