Testing that you can write a value to a data point - Industrial IoT 4.4.2.4

After you add a data point to a BACnet, Modbus, or OPC UA device, you can write a value to a data point to make sure it works.

1. From the Config Tool home page, open the Plugins task.
2. Expand the plugin role in the entity browser.
3. Select an entity, and open its Properties page.
4. In the Data points section, select a data point and click Write.
   The Write dialog box opens.
5. In the Value field, enter a new value and click Write.
6. Click Close.
