After you added a device, device type, entity, or entity type to Security Center, you can change its default
icon.
What you should know
The icon you assign to a device or entity is displayed in the entity browser and on
maps. It represents the type the device or entity. For devices and entities that have
states, it also represent the default state. You can assign a different icon for each
different state the device or entity might have in the
States
section of their
Properties page.
Procedure

From the Config
Tool home page,
open the Plugins task.

Select a device or entity from the entity browser and click the
Properties tab.

In the Device or Entity section,
click
beside the
Icon field.
The
Select icon dialog box opens.

Select an icon and click Save.

(Optional) Select a custom icon from your local system:

In the Select icon dialog box, click
Browse.

Navigate to the folder that contains the icon.

Select the icon and click Open.

Click Save.
-
Click Apply.
