The Industrial IoT plugin 5.0.2.0 includes the following new features.
Unified user interface for all protocols
Starting with version 5.0.0.0, all supported IoT protocols are installed through a single plugin. Moreover, they are all managed in Config Tool through a single plugin role, Industrial IoT.
Protocol enhancements
- You can provide a custom server certificate that is used by the HTTP server to establish secure connections.
- You can provide a list of certificates that the HTTP server uses to verify if it is authorized to establish a secure connection.
- For OPC devices, you can use the default self-signed client certificate, or use a trusted third-party store certificate.
- The Always trigger checkbox in the Rules tab can be used on a condition to trigger the actions of the rule every time the condition evaluates it to be true for an event.
- The Always trigger checkbox in the Rules tab can be used to run actions each time the data point value changes and the condition involving the data point is true.
- RabbitMQ 3.11.5 is installed with the package as the RabbitMQ 3.9 release series has reached its end of maintenance.
UI enhancements
- In the Time Seriessection, the Line chart widget can display information in a step chart or a line chart.
- In the Time Series section, the Line chart widget can add a data point with Boolean value type.
