Adding data points to dashboards in Security Desk - Industrial IoT 5.2.0.0 | BACnet | Modbus | OPC Client | SNMP Manager

To monitor the data points of a device or entity in a Security Desk dashboard, you must create individual widgets for each data point.

1. From the Security Desk homepage, open the Dashboards task.
2. In the Industrial IoT widgets section, click and drag the Data point value widget to the dashboard.
3. In the Data point value section, specify the data point details:
   • From the Plugin list, select the Industrial IoT plugin role.
   • If you are adding a data point from a device, select the device from the Device list.
   • If you are adding a data point from an entity, select the entity from the Entity list.
   • From the Data point list, select the data point that you want to monitor.
   • To show the unit symbol related to the displayed value, turn on the Show unit option.
4. (Optional) In the General section, customize the widget:
   • To give a title to the widget, turn on the Show title option and enter a title in the Title field.
   • From the Background list, select a color for the background of the widget.

   NOTE: The data shown in the widget is always the live value so the Auto refresh switch in the General section is not supported by BACnet, Modbus Client, OPC Client, and SNMP Client.
5. Click Done.
