To enable operators to view video of a device or entity when an event or state change occurs, you must link a camera to the device or entity in Security Center.

Before you begin

Add the devices that you want to monitor.

Procedure

  1. From the Config Tool homepage, open the Plugins task.
  2. Select a device or entity from the entity browser, and click the Linked cameras tab.
  3. Click Link cameras ().
  4. Select a camera, and then click OK > Apply.

Results

After the camera has been linked to an entity, video streams become available when you click on an entity in the Maps task or drag the entity to a tile in Security Desk.
