All configuration changes to the Industrial IoTplugin can be
reported using the Industrial IoT audit trails task in Config
Tool.
What you should know
This task allows the user to generate reports based on the configuration changes
applied to the plugin.
Procedure

From the Config Tool homepage, open the Industrial IoT audit
trails(
) task.

Set up one or more query filters for your report:
- Entities
- Select the role to investigate.
- Filters
- Select the item types to investigate, the users who generated them, and the
appropriate action.
- Actions
- Action type that generated the audit trail.
- Item types
- Item type that is targeted by the action that generated the audit
trail.
- Modified by
- Filter users who generated the audit trail.
- Time range
- Choose a time range for the report. You can specify a start and end date, or a
period such as the last day or the last week.

Click Generate report.
The events are listed in the report pane, with the following report pane
columns:
- Action
- Item type
- Initiator
- Timestamp
- Details
