The Industrial Protocol Interface plugin 3.1 includes the following known issues.

Tool, the SNMP page in
the Protocols tab of the plugin becomes unstable or unusable on
virtual machines. Workaround: Ensure that either the 2020-02 Cumulative
Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8 (KB4537572 for Windows 10 family systems), or
the 2020-02 Security and Quality Rollup for .NET Framework (KB4538124 for Windows
8.1 family systems) update or later has been installed, and install if required.
After the update is complete, restart the virtual machine.
