Using Config Tool, you can export a
Management Information Base (MIB) file that includes your SNMP traps. This file can then be
imported into an SNMP manager to automate setup.

Events created in
Industrial Protocol Interface are protocol-agnostic.
Procedure

From the Config Tool homepage, open the
Plugins task.

In the Plugins task, select the plugin role from the
entity browser, and click the Protocols tab.

Click the SNMP tab.

(Optional) In the Notification browser section, click
Refresh (
) to update the list of SNMP
arguments.

Click Export MIB file.
The Notification browser lists the SNMP arguments and
information like entity names and IDs, event types, and whether events are
native or custom.

Save the GENETEC-IPI-MIB file to a local directory.
Results
The MIB file is saved and available for import into your SNMP manager.
