You can create Industrial Protocol Interface events to represent Security Center events, and then forward those events as
SNMP traps in Config Tool.
What you should know
You can create rules manually one by one, or use presets to batch-create events
based on Security Center events.
Procedure
To create an event:

From the Config Tool homepage, open the
Plugins task.

In the Plugins task, select the plugin role from the
entity browser, and click the Events tab.

Under the Events list, click Add
event (
).

In the Name field, enter a name for your Industrial Protocol Interface event.

Under the Security Center events to forward list, click
Add Security Center event
to forward (
).
The Forward another Security Center event window
opens.

From the When list, select a Security Center event.

(Optional) select an entity to raise the event.

Click Add.
-
(Optional) repeat steps 5 to 8 to forward more events.

Click Apply (

(Optional) Use presets to batch-create Industrial Protocol Interface
events:

Click Presets to add one of the following event
presets:
- One event per entity type
- Creates as many events as there are types of entities in Security Center. All created events forward every
Security Center event that the entity type can
raise. This option ignores custom events.
- One event per Security Center event
- Creates as many events as there are Security Center events. Every event forwards a single
Security Center event. This option creates
events for every Security Center custom
event.
- A single event forwarding all Security Center
events
- Creates a single event that forwards all existing Security Center events. This option also forwards
custom events.

appears in the Events list.

Select an event from the Events list.

Click Apply (
