Before you can send your driver container data to the Restricted Security Area (RSA) Surveillance plugin, you must configure your RSA output container in the Inter-System (IS) Gateway.

Before you begin

Add an RSA output to the IS Gateway.

Procedure

  1. Sign in to the IS Gateway web portal.
  2. On the homepage, click the Configuration () tab.
  3. In the Inter-System Gateway Outputs section, select the output you want to configure and click Edit output ().
    The Edit output window opens.
  4. Click Open to access the IS Gateway RabbitMQ configuration page.
  5. In the new tab that opens, sign in with the following credentials:
    Username
    Admin
    Password
    Genetec!1
    You're taken to the ISG RabbitMQ Output web page.
    NOTE: You can change the default credentials for the ISG RabbitMQ Output web page in the Driver access section.

  6. In the RMQ Servers Failover section, click Add a new RMQ instance ().

  7. In the Add/Edit RMQ Endpoint window that opens, enter the following information:
    Hostname or IP
    The name or IP address of the server hosting the RabbitMQ server.
    Port
    The communication port that is used by the RabbitMQ server. The default port is 5671.
    User
    The user who is authorized to connect to RabbitMQ.
    Password
    The password of the user authorized to connect to RabbitMQ.
    Vhost
    Configure a vhost for the RabbitMQ configuration to segregate the RabbitMQ traffic. The default value for this field is /RSA.
    Import certificate
    Add a certificate to authenticate the RabbitMQ connection.

    If RabbitMQ is installed through a Genetec™ installer, the default certificate path is C:\Program Files (x86)\Genetec\RabbitMQ\cert.pem.

  8. Click OK.
    The RabbitMQ server is listed in the RMQ Servers Failover section. The Status is green when the server connection is established.
