[KBA-79114] Not getting antipassback violations after upgrade to Synergis Softwire 11.3.1

After upgrading to Synergis™ Softwire 11.3.1 or Synergis™ Cloud Link 2.0.1, cardholders are granted access multiple times on areas configured with antipassback, and the Access denied: Antipassback violation event is not generated.

Applies to

Synergis Softwire 11.3.1 and Synergis Cloud Link 2.0.1 used with the Mercury integration
NOTE: Customers using the Mercury native antipassback are not affected.

Cause

Due to a code defect, cardholders will not be denied access due to an antipassback violation. They will always be granted access in this situation if they have access to the door.

Workaround

  1. Log on to your Synergis Cloud Link unit, using the following URL:
    http://<IP address>/Features/SIX_Antipassback/Enabled/Set?value=false
NOTE: <IP address> is the IP address of the Synergis Cloud Link unit.
  2. On the redirect page that opens, click the link to disable the antipassback feature.
  3. Restart Synergis Softwire.

Status

This issue is resolved in Synergis Softwire 11.3.2 and Synergis Cloud Link 2.0.2.
