[KBA-79114] Not getting antipassback violations after upgrade to Synergis Softwire 11.3.1
After upgrading to Synergis™ Softwire 11.3.1 or Synergis™ Cloud Link 2.0.1, cardholders are granted access multiple times on areas configured with antipassback, and the Access denied: Antipassback violation event is not generated.
Applies to
Synergis Softwire 11.3.1 and Synergis Cloud Link 2.0.1 used with the Mercury
integration
NOTE: Customers using the Mercury native antipassback are not
affected.
Cause
Due to a code defect, cardholders will not be denied access due to an antipassback violation. They will always be granted access in this situation if they have access to the door.
Workaround
- Log on to your Synergis Cloud Link unit, using the
following URL: http://<IP address>/Features/SIX_Antipassback/Enabled/Set?value=falseNOTE: <IP address> is the IP address of the Synergis Cloud Link unit.
- On the redirect page that opens, click the link to disable the antipassback feature.
- Restart Synergis Softwire.
Status
This issue is resolved in Synergis Softwire 11.3.2 and Synergis Cloud Link 2.0.2.
