[KBA-79118] The Sipelia role might be unable to establish communication with server in Config Tool
When accessing the Sipelia™ role in Config Tool, an error message might be displayed.
After opening the Sipelia role in Config Tool and selecting a tab (General, Server, Ring Group, Dial plans, SIP trunking, or Recording) the following message might be displayed:
Unable to establish communication with the server. Check the connection and try again.
Applies to
Sipelia 2.11 SR1, 2.11 SR2, 2.12 GA
Cause
A coding issue.
Workaround
For systems running Sipelia 2.12 GA, install hotfix HF3117316 on the Sipelia server and client.
For systems running an earlier version of Sipelia than 2.12 GA, upgrade to Sipelia 2.12 GA and install hotfix HF3117316 on the Sipelia server and client.
To obtain the hotfix, contact the Genetec™ Technical Assistance Center (GTAC).
Status
The issue is resolved in Sipelia 2.13 GA.
