KONE Destination Dispatch

To have elevator groups respond to specific call types, you must manually add them to the elevator group.

What you should know

  • Only one cardholder group can be assigned to a specific call type.
  • Call types must be manually created for each elevator group.
  • The KONE Destination Dispatch system has four native call types: Handicap, Priority, Empty car, and Space allocation.
  • Custom call types can be added to the plugin to reference other call type IDs in the KONE Group Controller.


  1. From the home page in Config Tool, open the Plugins task.
  2. From the entity browser, select the KONE Destination Dispatch plugin, and then click the Call types tab.
  3. Click Add a new call type () and enter the following:
    A name for the call type.
    Call type ID
    A unique ID number that you assign to the call type behavior in KONE.
    Cardholder group
    The cardholder group that the call type applies to.
  4. (Optional) To establish the priority of the call types, select a call type and use the arrows to move them up and down in the list.
    The call types at the top of the list have the highest priority.
  5. (Optional) To reset the order of your call types, click the Reset the default call types icon.
  6. Click OK, and then Apply.
