You can upgrade KONE Destination Dispatch plugin from version 3.0 directly to version 3.0.1.

Before you begin

  • Read the release notes to learn about important information for this release.
  • Confirm that your versions of Security Center, the KONE Destination Dispatch, and the plugin are compatible.

What you should know

  • The plugin must be upgraded on all Security Center client and server computers.
  • An upgrade keeps your current entities and their configuration, and all event notifications.
  • The Directory database contains all your entities.
  • The plugin database contains all your event notifications.

Procedure

  1. Deactivate the plugin role.
  2. Open Server Admin, and back up the Directory database.
  3. Back up the plugin role database.
  4. Download and install the latest version of the plugin.
  5. If the plugin role did not automatically restart after installation, activate it.
  6. Upgrade the plugin on all Security Center client workstations.
    The plugin is ready for use.
