The Key Systems Security Asset Manager plugin adds custom alarms to Security Center. These alarms can be used as query filters in alarm reports, triggered using event-to-actions, and acknowledged in Monitoring tasks .

IMPORTANT: If these events are not displayed in the Custom alarms list in Config Tool, the plugin is not installed on the local computer.

If you do not want these alarms to be triggered in your system, you can disable all cabinet alarms.

Custom alarm Triggered when: How to clear
Asset not returned
  • A cardholder has an asset outside of its schedule.
  • A cardholder has an asset for too long (typically longer than 24 hours).
  • Return the assets in the cabinet.
Asset problem
  • An asset was removed without authorization.
  • A cardholder exceeded the maximum number of keys.
  • An asset was removed before reservation started.
  • An asset was not returned before the reservation ended.
  • Return the assets in the cabinet.
Battery low
  • Battery voltage is low.
  • Recharge the battery.
Cabinet unplugged
  • The cabinet is not connected to a power source.
  • Plug the cabinet into an AC source.
Cardholder is under duress
  • After entering their PIN, a cardholder pressed the 9 digit.
  • Cleared automatically.
Door left open
  • The door is open past its configured timeout (typically 30 seconds).
  • Close the door.
Multiple failed login attempts
  • Multiple invalid PINs entered successively (typically three times).
  • Wait the configured timeout duration (typically 90 seconds).
System maintenance is required
  • System maintenance is required.
  • Contact Key Systems.
Unauthorized access
  • The cabinet door was opened without authorization.
  • Close the door.
