To monitor and report on cabinets that are located on a different network than the Key Systems Security Asset Manager plugin, you must download and install a remote proxy on a server that is on the same network as the cabinets.

Before you begin

Download the plugin installation package.

What you should know

  • Remote proxies are not managed by the plugin. They are deployed on a remote server and managed through a web application.
  • Security Center does not have to be installed on the server where the remote proxy is being installed.
  • You can deploy multiple remote proxies.

Procedure

  1. On your Security Center server, open the plugin installation folder.
  2. Copy the Key Systems Proxy folder and move it from the Security Center server to the server hosting the cabinet.
  3. Click setup.exe.
  4. Follow the installation instructions.
  5. On the Installation Wizard Completed page, click Finish.
