Before you can monitor KiwiVision™ in Security Desk, you must configure intrusion detector paths settings for your camera.

What you should know

You can define one or more paths in the video to specify the direction of travel that you want to analyze.

Procedure

  1. In Config Tool select your intrusion detector.
  2. In the Paths tab, configure the Paths settings as follows.

  3. Click to create a path arrow indicating the direction of travel that you want to analyze in the video.
    1. Click beside the path arrow (within 10 px) to turn it yellow and drag to the location that you want to analyze.
    2. Click and drag the white dots to adjust the path arrow length or orientation in the video as required.
    3. Single-click the arrow to add more dots. You can adjust the direction of travel multiple times to include travel that is not in a straight line, as shown in the image below.

  4. (Optional) To remove any paths that you no longer require, Click beside the path arrow (within 10 px) to turn the arrow yellow, and click
    NOTE: For an Intrusion detector to be considered valid, it must include at least one path.
  5. Click Apply.

Results

Your camera is now configured for KiwiVision™.
