Ensure that you are monitoring the correct events for each KiwiVision™ module.
Modules included in the KiwiVision™ video analytics plugin
For the KiwiVision™ Security video analytics and People Counter modules, when alerts are triggered by the detection of people or objects in a video analytics scenario, native Security Center events are generated. The events triggered vary by scenario type.
Refer to the following table to know which events you must enable in Security
Desk so that you can monitor the events in
real time:
Event | Scenario type |
---|---|
Events used by the KiwiVision™ Security video analytics module | |
Object detected | Custom Object Detector |
Object detected in field |
|
Object following route | Direction control |
Object left | Object detection |
Object removed | Custom Object Detector |
Object stopped | Stopped vehicle detection |
Tailgating | Tailgating detection |
Events used by the KiwiVision™ People Counter module | |

People counting | People counting |
NOTE: The native Security Center events that begin
with Intrusion detection are unrelated to the KiwiVision™ video analytics plugin,
and can be ignored. Only the events listed in the table are used by the modules included in
the KiwiVision™ video analytics plugin.
KiwiVision™ Camera Integrity Monitor
Refer to this table to know which events you must enable in Security
Desk so that you can monitor the events in
real time:
Event | Description |

module have Scene changed in the description. When the event is
triggered from a camera's proprietary tampering detection functionality, the
