You can use the Crowd estimation scenario to detect the number of people within one or more regions of a camera's field-of-view. The estimated count is reported at a configurable interval.

NOTE: This scenario is available through the KiwiVision™ People Counter module.
The Crowd estimation scenario is designed for indoor and outdoor scenes. Detections are most accurate when cameras are mounted top-down, but tilted cameras at angles of 20 - 90° from the ceiling can be used.

You can display and monitor the statistics generated from this scenario on Security Desk dashboards, using the following Crowd estimation widgets:

Charts
Displays the number of people inside the selected regions during a specific time on a bar or line chart.
Occupancy
Displays the number of people currently in the selected regions.
