The Perimeter protection scenario detects when people cross a defined perimeter, such as a fenced area.
This scenario is designed for monitoring movement between defined regions within in
small areas. False events are triggered less frequently with the Perimeter protection
scenario than with the Area protection scenario because the motion that triggers the
detection is more limited.
Area settings
The Perimeter protection scenario must consist of a source region, transport region, and
alarm region.
NOTE: You do not need to define paths because movement triggers alerts
through the three defined regions in a specific order.
The movement begins in the green source region (entry point), travels through
the yellow transport region, and ends in the red alarm region (exit
point).
