You can use video analytics in Security Center with the KiwiVision™ video analytics module by following a sequence of steps.

4 | Make sure your servers meet the recommended system requirements for video analytics, and are running a compatible version of Security Center. | |
Prepare Security Center | ||
5 | Make sure the cameras that you want to apply video analytics to meet the requirements, are optimally set up, are added to Security Center, and are functioning as required. | |
6 | Verify that your Security Center license has a valid certificate for the module. Go to the Config Tool home page, click , and confirm that KiwiAnalytics is in the list. |

Deploy the module | ||
7 | If you are not already using the version of Security Center that the module is bundled with, install and upgrade as required. | |
8 | Grant users the privileges that they need to use
the module. The following privileges
are specific to using KiwiVision™ video analytics:

9 | In Config Tool, create the KiwiVision™ Manager role. | |

KiwiVision™ Analyzer role. NOTE: For
multi-server setups, create a KiwiVision™ Analyzer role on each server
that will perform video analytics, and make sure the Analyzer roles can
access the KiwiVision™ Manager
database.

12 | (Optional) On the Properties page of the KiwiVision™ Manager role, modify the usage
data collection settings. NOTE: These options were configured when you
installed the module separately from Security

13 | Choose the scenario type best suited to your needs, and add it to your camera. | |
