To review and investigate events triggered from the KiwiVision™ video analytics module, use the Security video analytics investigation task in Security Desk.

Before you begin

Make sure you are granted the KiwiVision reports privilege.

What you should know

The events triggered from the KiwiVision™ video analytics module cannot be queried using the Camera events investigation task.

  1. From the Security Desk home page, open the Security video analytics task.
  2. Select one or more of the following query filters for your report:
Select which entities to investigate. For example, a camera that has been configured for KiwiVision™ video analytics.
Select the types of scenarios by which you want to filter.
    Time range
Define the time range for the query. The range can be defined for a specific period or for global units of time such as the last day or the last week.
  3. Click Generate report.
The events are listed in the report pane. The following report pane columns are available for this report:
The type of scenario for which the event was triggered.
The camera for which the event was triggered.
    Frame time
The date and time that the event occurred.
    A snapshot of the event.

You can display the report in the Tiles view () or the Charts view ().
NOTE: For further investigation, when in the Tiles view, you can launch the playback video of an event in a tile by double-clicking an event from the report pane.
