Limitations are software or hardware issues that cannot be fixed. For certain limitations, workarounds are documented.
The KiwiVision™ video analytics
4.1
GA module includes the following limitations:
Issue | Description |
---|---|
2117862 | When you enable the Alerts overlays for an object detection scenario, the overlays are not displayed as expected. The red bounding box, which highlights the detection that triggered an alert, is only displayed while the Alert cooldown is active. |
2030344 | In Config Tool, some messages about the KiwiVision™ Manager and KiwiVision™ Analyzer roles are displayed in the system language instead of the language set for Security Center. |
2024739 | If your Security
Center license includes license parts for
a newer version of the KiwiVision™ video analytics module than the version you
have installed, any new features enabled by the license parts are not
available. Workaround: Ensure that you install the version of the module
that the license parts apply to.
|
1963249 | If the KiwiVision reports privilege is added or removed from a user, while the user is logged on to Security Desk, the change does not take effect until the user logs off from Security Desk and then logs back on. |
1915630 | The KiwiVision reports and Modify KiwiVision
camera properties privileges are not included in the default privilege
templates used to create users. Workaround: Create a user group that has
the KiwiVision reports and Modify KiwiVision camera properties
privileges, and add users to that user group.
|
1799880 | Event snapshots are not saved for a camera with privacy protection enabled. This ensures that unpixelated snapshots are not shown. |
1799877 | When upgrading the KiwiVision™ video analytics module from
3.x to 4.x, the bounding boxes are not drawn into event images of existing
configurations. Workaround: Open and save each KiwiVision™ Intrusion Detector
configuration that has this issue and it will be automatically
resolved.
|
1799876 | When importing or loading settings from the database, slider settings that are below the minimum or above the maximum value are not shown until the slider is clicked. |
1533986 | When the KiwiVision™ Manager and KiwiVision™ Analyzer roles are offline, no errors are listed in the Diagnostic window. |
1008244 | When an analytic is not dispatched or the KiwiVision™ video analytics roles are deleted without a proper shutdown, the lifespan of the static area overlay is 2 minutes, starting from the last time an Analyzer role used it. |
1008239 | Config Tool: Importing an XML configuration file from the Genetec™ Config Tool into the standalone KiwiVision™ Configuration tool is not supported. |
982967 | Config Tool: On the Perspective and Areas pages, KiwiVision™ video analytics annotations are not redrawn until a new video frame is received. This can cause the UI to update slowly if the video frame rate is low. |
952755 | Module is not responsive to license modifications. Workaround: If the
license count is modified, restart the KiwiVision™ Manager
for the changes to take effect.
