To bring members of a cardholder group to a specific floor after they swipe their cards at a reader, a home floor must be assigned to the cardholder group.

Before you begin

  • If the home floor of the cardholder group is set to Secured, you must apply access rules that provide access to cardholder group.
  • To enable this feature on a destination input device, turn on the Turnstile option.

Procedure

  1. From the home page in Config Tool, open the Access control task.
  2. Click the Cardholders and credentials view.
  3. From the entity browser, select a cardholder group.
  4. Click the Home floor tab.
  5. From the Default floor list, select an MCE floor marking.

  6. Click Apply.
    A home floor is assigned to the cardholder group.
