To have elevator cars respond differently to elevator requests for specific cardholder groups, you must assign call types to cardholder groups in the plugin.

Before you begin

Configure the cardholder groups that require specific call types. For more information, see the Security Center Administrator Guide.

What you should know

  • Only one cardholder group can be assigned to a given call type.
  • The MCE Sentry Destination Dispatch plugin 3.0.0 offers the following call types:
    VIP
    Calls special elevator for passenger.
    Hospital
    Emergency call within a hospital.
    Handicap
    Call with additional walk time and instructions.
    Visitor
    Indicates the touch screen should add voice instructions.

Procedure

  1. From the home page in Config Tool, open the Plugins task.
  2. From the entity browser, select the MCE Sentry Destination Dispatch plugin.
  3. Click the Call types tab.
  4. Click the Cardholder group field beside the call type that you want to configure.

  5. Select a cardholder group.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Click Apply.
